Club Shut Down – again!

In response to the announcement by the PM regarding a second lock down and the requirement for leisure facilities to close, the Club has no choice but to shut down after our swim session at Pewsey on the 4th Nov. We will remain closed for swimming and gym activities until such time as Government and Swim England confirm we can return to the water, and pool operators open once again.

Payment of swim and gym fees for the duration of the closure is suspended, so please cancel your monthly standing orders with immediate effect if you haven’t already done so. We know some members have continued to pay their standing orders, and we would like to thank them very much. Your contributions make a real difference and will help us to maintain the ongoing financial viability of the Club. If anyone else would like to re-start their standing order or make a small donation towards the ongoing financial commitments of the club then this would be welcome.

Despite being closed for swimming and gym, we are still offering online land training by Zoom.  These sessions remain open to all Squad members (i.e. length swimmers) and we would like to encourage everyone to attend. The Club’s AGM will also run as planned on the 17th Nov 2020 at 7pm by Zoom call.

During the closure we will keep you informed of any updates by email and posts on our web-site, so please keep watching out for communications from us. We will of course let you know as soon as we can when swimming will re-start.

Clearly this is hugely disappointing for us all but we hope we can count on your continued support as we go forward.
