2025 Club Championships – Save the Date

Save the Dates!

Marlborough Penguins Club Championships in 2025 will be held in a new revised format, at the superb Marlborough College pool. This format will enable more swimmers to attend, to try different races and will make it easier for our volunteers to run the event!

The ‘longer distance’ events (200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m) will be held on specific Monday and Friday evenings.

Our main Club Champs Day, on a Saturday, will accommodate shorter distances (25m, 50m, 100m and IM (Individual Medley)) and is a perfect way for swimmers who are new to competing to start out.

25m races are unlicensed; all other events will be licensed. As a Licensed meet this means swimmers’ times for 50m and over will be registered on Swim England’s Rankings, allowing them to use their registered times to enter future Level 3 licensed meets. Times from this meet can also be used as qualifying times for the Wiltshire County Championships.
