League Competitions and Penguins Teams

Dates for all competitions can be found on the Calendar. 

The​ Club enters Penguins Teams into three swimming Leagues:

1. Wiltshire County Moonraker Winter League – full details can be found in the “Black Book” via this link http://www.wiltshireswimming.co.uk/?page_id=1388
2. Wiltshire County Moonraker Summer League – full details can be found in the “Black Book” via this link http://www.wiltshireswimming.co.uk/?page_id=1388
3. Southern Junior League (commonly called the SJL league). This aim of this league is to promote inter-club competition for junior swimmers aged between 9 and 12 years old, and to encourage their progression in swimming and participation in sport. The gala comprises a mixture of individual races of all the strokes (i.e. Frontcrawl, Backcrawl, Breaststroke, Butterfly) plus an Individual Medley. These are swam over various distances the longest of which is 100m. There are also frontcrawl and medley relay events which are swam over 100m and 200m.
